About Winnie’s

Winnie's Wine Bar

Paul & Wendy Hamilton and Jason Arnold opened Winnie’s Wine Bar in 2022 to complement the numerous other Hamilton Hospitality venues nearby. The name holds special meaning for the trio: Winnie was Wendy’s childhood nickname, and is still what her close friends call her to this day.

The space pays homage to the trio’s traveling days, with subtle touches that conjure up memories of jetsetting around the world and tasting great wine. The wine bar’s decor includes a 3-D map of the world and a series of clocks that show the local time in various wine regions. There are also a few vintage propellers on the walls that accentuate the overall travel theme.

The interior includes an expansive bar and ample table seating, along with comfy leather couches. The seating lends another unique travel-themed touch to the space, with tables that are cobbled from old suitcases.

Keeping with the theme, the wine program focuses on wine flights, with white, red, sparkling and rose flights available. Winnie’s also offers 30+ wines by the glass, as well as several bottle-only offerings. Several higher-end or vintage reds are dispensed using a Coravin system, allowing guests to taste these wines without ever opening the bottle.
There are plenty of beer offerings in addition to the wine as well. Behind the 18-seat bar are more than a dozen draft taps that showcase popular beers from around the world. Plus, there are a limited number of cocktails on the menu as well, including a frozen option or two.

Food offerings at Winnie’s consist of mostly shareable options, with an emphasis on appetizers, salads, and wine-friendly charcuterie and cheese boards.
